Terms of Use
Using Dispatch
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Dispatch for its intended purpose. You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to break security, disrupt the service, or use it to record people unlawfully. You are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires before recording.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is an expression of interest, not a purchase or a guarantee of access. You can ask us to remove your email at any time.
Intellectual property
The Dispatch name, app, website, and content are owned by us or our licensors. Your recordings, transcripts, and other content remain yours — we claim no ownership of them.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcription will be accurate. Consent and metadata guidance in the app is advisory and is not legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important recordings.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms as the product evolves; continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to its courts.
Cookie Policy
Dispatch is deliberately low on cookies. We set no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
- Consent preference — when you choose “Accept” or “Decline” in the cookie banner, we store that single choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. It contains no personal data and is never sent to a server.
You can change your choice any time using the control (also in the footer). Clearing your browser storage resets it. If we ever introduce analytics, we’ll update this policy and only load them after you opt in.
